My Role & Project Case Study
I am currently working on the digital experience team, building strategy for in-vehicle interfaces and mobile applications. I work on the end-to-end design process from research and concepting, to building high fidelity prototypes, and testing.
Leading the development of new interaction models and hardware strategy across GM & influencing stakeholders to bring these innovations to life. I thrive solving complex problems and driving innovation.
I use Figma, Protopie, and Unreal to create high-fidelity prototypes for mobile apps and automotive interfaces, enabling key business decisions and usability testing.
I’ve Conducted user interviews to uncover insights, leading to the development of new interaction models for cabin comfort. integrating mobile and in-vehicle features.
Project scope: In order to streamline and improve future product experience across the company I worked with a small team to establish building blocks of a new OS including interface framework, information architecture, and interface hardware specifications.
Outcome: The outcome of this project has been transformative for GM. After an intense 6 month effort our team’s proposed strategy received buy-in from both the Industrial design VP, and UX design VP.
My role: I lead the development of high fidelity prototypes for A/B testing, vr prototyping, and building presentations for leadership review. Myself and my team members made contributions towards discussion, research, concepting, developing user flows, and information architecture.
I have also contributed to the development of new features for our brand mobile application, as well as interior interface features for climate, performance drive recording, and camera systems. I built a new visual design system for Future Cadillac in-vehicle interfaces.
While working on Cadillac's Advanced Design Team in 2020, I led the design of future vehicle screen & control concepts, and a VR show car interior. I collaborated with the Cadillac Marketing team to evolve the brand’s digital marketing strategy. In 2019 I founded and grew the General Motors design instagram from 0 to 87k followers with 3 of my colleagues.
